Hi, I’m Lindon Cummings, the lead storyteller behind Fordecam. I’m originally from Boca Raton, Florida, and for the past nine years, photography has been more than a career for me—it’s been my way of understanding people, preserving memories, and giving life to the moments that matter. I’m truly grateful to God for planting me in so many meaningful places; while encountering different people so that I may continue to have an impact through my craft.
My journey started when I took a film photography class in my first year of college. I truly learned what it meant to make each photo count and become more intentional about what I captured. What started out of curiosity quickly transformed into a passion: capturing portraits that don’t just show a person, but reveal who they are. Over the years, I’ve learned that a great photo isn’t just about lighting or composition—it’s about emotion, connection, and the story behind each frame. That’s what I aim to deliver every time I pick up the camera.
Whether I’m photographing an intimate portrait, a high-energy event, or a brand’s defining moment, my goal is always the same: to document real, meaningful moments with intention and heart. I believe photographs carry a powerful truth—they help us relive the feelings, not just the visuals; they become a part of our legacy.

The Inspiration Behind This Company
Fordecam LLC is dedicated to my grandfather—the man who first showed me the true value of documenting life.
Growing up, every family celebration, holiday, or gathering had one constant: Grandpa with his old VHS camera, held together with electrical tape and love. In the middle of all the noise and joy, you could always find him behind that camera, making sure every single person was included in the frame. Years later, when we’d watch those tapes, we’d be struck by how much had changed—how much we had changed—and yet how those moments stayed perfectly preserved because he cared enough to capture them.
My grandfather was a wise man, deeply rooted in the belief that family and togetherness were everything. He was happiest when we were all in one place, and he made it his mission to document every smile, every milestone, every piece of our story.
I’ve carried that same mission into my own work. Whether I’m photographing a wedding, a corporate gathering, or a brand’s most important moment, my goal is always to ensure that everyone feels seen, included, and represented. Just like he did.
My grandfather was—and always will be—the beating heart of Fordecam. His legacy lives in every frame I capture.

For events, we recommend booking 4–8 weeks in advance. Portraits and brand shoots can often be scheduled sooner depending on availability.
Do you offer second shooters for events?
A second photographer is available upon request for larger events, weddings, or projects requiring expanded coverage.
How do you handle challenging weather for outdoor shoots?
We monitor forecasts closely and provide backup options, including rescheduling, alternate locations, or creative solutions to ensure great photos regardless of weather conditions.
Do you travel?
Absolutely! We are a Florida-based company, but are available for travel nationwide or anywhere around the world. Travel fees may apply depending on location.
Do you work with brands or businesses?
Yes! We regularly work with businesses for events, product shots, lifestyle branding, and social media content. We also have retainer packages available for those who may require consistent flow of content.
Can we provide a shot list?
Yes! While we have our methods of preparation, we certainly welcome shot lists to ensure all desired key moments, people, and details are captured exactly as you envision.
